Health Signs

This week, in issue 34 of Lengro we look at Health; learning to live with conditions and ailments. Keeping good health is very important, but did you know each sign rules a certain part of the body, as well as known to have a sign-specific deficiency? Have a look below and make sure you’ve been stocking up on your calcium and vegetables too! Stay tuned for a much-needed liver cleaning recipe at the end of this article.

ARIES (March 21st-April 20th)

Aries are a sign known to rule the head, brain, and face, but they are deficient in the cell salt kali phosphoricum. To combat this deficiency, tomatoes will be your best friend.

TAURUS (April 21st-May 21st)

Taurus rules the throat but has a deficiency in sodium sulphate, so needs to get loaded up with apples and celery this new year.

GEMINI (May 22nd-June 21st)

Geminis are notorious for ruling the chest, shoulders, and lungs. But, they’re a sign in need of more potassium chloride. So, add watercress and cauliflower to next week’s shopping list.

CANCER (June 22nd-July 23rd)

Cancer, this sign rules the breast and the stomach. To be in the best form and combat this deficiency, which is in calcium fluoride, you need to get milk stocked up. More cups of tea and milkshakes, please.

LEO (July 24th-August 23rd)

Leo rules the back, spine and heart. Being deficient in magnesium phosphate means plums and wheat bran are a Leo’s new best friend.

VIRGO (August 24th-September 23rd)

Virgo rules the intestines and lacks in kali sulphuricum. Tomatoes, lemons and celery must be incorporated into meals to combat this.

LIBRA (September 24th-October 23rd)

Libra rules the kidneys and has deficiencies in sodium of phosphate. Lettuce and spinach need to be added to this sign’s new year diet.

SCORPIO (October 24th-November 22nd)

Scorpio is known for ruling the reproductive system, but deficient in something known as calcium sulphate. To combat this deficiency, stock up with prunes and cottage cheese to reach full potential.

SAGITTARIUS (November 23rd-December 21st)

Sagittarius is the ruler of the hips, thighs and nerves. This sign’s deficiency in silica (which is a quart of flint) can be easily addressed by topping up on parsnips, asparagus and cucumber.

CAPRICORN (December 22nd-January 20th)

Capricorn rules the bones, skin and skeleton. They are known to be deficient in that all too familiar calcium phosphate and should stock up on watercress, cabbage and milk.

AQUARIUS (January 21st-February 19th)

Aquarius is the ruler of the ankles and of circulation. To stay on top form, and oppose that deficiency in sodium, Aquarians need to be investing in apples, spinach and swiss chard.

PISCES (February 20th-March 20th)

Pisces are infamous for ruling the feet. Known also for their deficiency in phosphate of iron, it’s those leafy green vegetables you need to be seeking.
